No class tonight

I'm sorry I had to cancel class tonight. I had a family emergency and couldn't make it. I know everyone was excited to take a midterm exam. I promise everyone will be able to take the midterm exam next week. Take the extra week to study the information on my site. Our assignment will be due next week. Monday night class

I hope everyone had a great spring break. Bring your notebooks and pens Monday. We are going through the information in the class books and starting some photoshop training. Make sure you bring your work and be ready to show the class.

Hello my little ones. A bit of foot dragging delayed the birth of my site. I am so excited about the potential of this class. I'm sorry for the bumpy start but hopefully we will be running at full speed by the next class. The best part of our next class will be the addition of creative suite software. We are going to gloss over the font book again and start learning some of the graphic design basics. We are going to start with illustrator. I will go over the particulars in a later post.

I mentioned in class that I want an hour a week worth of drawing from each one of you along with a verbal presentation. I want to make sure that everyone knows that this is a continual assignment. The goal it to put together a few pieces of your artwork to promote you as an artist.
